It is all very proper. "Formal" you might say. Of course, you don't mean to imply this is a "suits with tails and cummerbunds" kind of formal; it IS still the countryside after all.
To your left, the front drive winds its way out to the main road. You can't, however, see the road from here - it's much too far away hidden behind the tree-lined drive's several turns. What you can see is the crisply manicured herb garden in front of you. The rows of lavender happen to be growing closest to where you stand in this quaint country estate and they smell absolutely delicious.
It may all be make-believe and you aren't actually lounging in the English countryside, but perhaps, well, perhaps, after smelling the aroma of this soap, you'll consider taking tea this afternoon and holding out your pinky finger anyway.
